Although the Californian’s approach to competition may seem unorthodox, the talented regular-footer’s ability to mesh his freakish maneuvers and knack for the lineup saw him finish in the top 10 on the ASP World Tour for 2009. Proclaimed by many as one of the greatest free-surfing talents to date, Reynolds’ groomed style was brought on by the grip of flawless point breaks surrounding his home of Ventura, helping him to mesh his patented aerials with timeless carves and making him one of the world’s most technically well-rounded surfers.
