21-year-old Santa Monica native, Lizzie Armanto, has won nearly every women’s contest she’s entered including the 2013 and 2014 Van Doren Invitationals in Huntington Beach, CA as well as X-Games Gold in Women’s Skateboard Park in Barcelona and dozens of more. And the truth of the matter is that Lizzie is flat out more burly than half the dudes out there. Her deep bag of tricks mixed with her fun, carefree style make her one of the raddest people to watch in any session and we’re stoked to have her join the Vans family.

I skate Chukka Lows mostly.

WHAT’S BEEN THE BEST TRIP YOU’VE EVER BEEN ON?

The best trip I’ve ever been on is the 3rd time I went to Australia; I was out there for the Vans Bowl-A-Rama contests. It was summer and a bunch of friends were out there too; it would have been a challenge not to have a good time.

HOW DID YOU GET ON VANS?

Grosso. I’ve always been a Vans girl at heart so he helped make it happen.

FAVORITE VANS RIDER AND WHY?

Grosso because he’s a big teddy bear.

WHAT TRICK CAN’T YOU DO THAT YOU WISH YOU COULD?

Nosegrinds.

WHAT ARE SOME INTERESTS/HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF SKATING?

Drawing, adventuring, beach activities, getting boba and yoga.

LAST GOOD BOOK YOU READ?

I enjoyed Kiss Me Like A Stranger By Gene Wilder. It gave me a new perspective on him and the movies he played in.
